This provides an index to a series of tables detailing available microfilm at FHC's, for selected counties. These tables are intended to be used as checklist's to be used for rspecialized searches of these records to support genealogical research. The counties recorded here are those which are of interest to me personally, and are not intended to be a comprehensive treatment. The tabulations are largely drawn from source:Schaefer, 1998, but are supplemented as additional information comes to hand. Schaefer's treatment is not itself comprehensive. For example, records for some counties (e.g., Washington County Virginia) are not given; this may be because those records do not appear in the FHC collection of microfilm, but I don't know that's the case.
