"In connection with ABRAM SHAW, I have found a little information that might be useful. Abram Shaw, incidently, came from Simmondley, near Glossop, and not Samontly. Abram Shaw is buried in a family grave on common ground in Glossop Cemetery. The grave is recorded in the books, but it would be impossible to find it. “Abram died on 26th Mar. 1865 at the age of 87 years. In the family grave also were Joseph Warhurst, died 10th July 1895, age 79 yrs; Eliza Moffatt, died 20th Dec. 1893, age 59 yrs; William Moffatt died 28th Dec. 1889, age 63 yrs."
