- ↑ based on his age at death (age 86 in 1743 according to the bygdebok). However, the 1666 birth date is more compatible with his parents marriage date.
- ↑ but his step-mother (Knut's mother) did not want to give up her lease rights. In the end, Håvor lost.
- ↑ (probably after his mother's death in 1687 until he purchased the property in 1695).
- ↑ Breie was called Breien after 1838 (Farm #136 after 1886) [page 126]. [The 1695 date is from notes interpreted to mean: "Jens Leegaard sold Breie to his tenant farmer in 1695" and "Jens Leegaard sold Breie in 1695 to the last tenant farmer relative". Therefore, it can be deduced that Knut had been the tenant farmer at Breie prior to 1695].
