Tinkling Spring Church, Augusta County, VA

Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church was founded in 1740 and is the second-oldest Presbyterian congregation in the "Valley of Virginia". The first meeting house was a log cabin measuring twenty-four by fifty feet. It wasn't until 1792 when a new building was built, and the present church building was erected in 1849 and remodeled in 1916.
