The original picture is labeled at the bottom. It says Amelia, Mariah, Charles Sr, Lucy, Caroline.
However, the man in the middle seems far too young to be Charles Sr. A closer look at the photo shows some writing. Next to the man’s head is the word “John” which makes much more sense. There is also some writing near Mariah’s head which is very tough to make out, but it sort of looks like the word “Mariah”
The apparent ages place this picture in the early 1900s. Caroline appears to have a wedding ring
on her finger. She married Carl Murphy in 1906. Since everyone is dressed up, this could be a photo taken at her wedding. The dress Caroline is wearing is fancy enough to be a wedding dress.
In 1906 Lucy was 28 with four children, Joseph (not pictured) was 25, Amelia (Millie) was 24, Mariah was 23 and had at least one child, John was 21, Caroline was 19, and youngest child Charles (not pictured) was 18.
