Michel Maran Benoit (1833-1909)

This is Michel Benoit with his second wife Marie Domathile Duhon.

There were seven boys in his second marriage. There are five boys in the photograph.

In order of age:

• Twins Eustlian and Julian were the oldest. Eustlian and Julian are sitting in the chairs.
• Roman was the next oldest.
• Then Murphy.
• Raymie.

The taller girl in the back is Emiah "Mayah" Benoit, from the first marriage. She married Frank LeDoux.

Could the other girl be Cleontine Favier, Donathile's daughter from her first marriage? In the 1880 census, an 8-year-old Cleontine is shown as living in Michel's household.
