Hannah was born about 1760 and died in 1842 in Wheeling Township, Guernsey County, Ohio. She married David Miskimen, and they lived in Washington County, Maryland, near the Potomac River, with David's family. David died there in 1800 or 1801.

Eventually, the entire Miskimen family moved to Ohio. Hannah and her son James were among the last, going to Ohio about 1825. The 1820 census shows Hannah in Maryland. At that time, William Young, Peter Young, and John Young were her neighbors, William being 45+ years old, both Peter and John 26-45 years old. Were they her brothers.
