The Pennsylvania Archives provides extensive data on-line concerning colonial land records. Township maps, showing early land acquistions through the warrant and patent process, are available. The Dauphin County Derry Township Map has been used to capture data about these early warrants. This map provides considerable detail---so much so that it is difficult to use in its online format. A simplified version has been developed to assist with discussion of various families in this area, and is shown below.
