Marriages.
In the brilliantly lighted parlors of the residence of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Rochester and in the presence of a host of relatives and friends, a happy marriage was consummated yesterday at 10:30 A. M. Mr. John T. Gano and Miss [sic] Clara Bell Helm, in a short but impressive ceremony, were made husband and wife by the father of the groom, Gen. R. M. Gano. The bride is a relative of the late Governor Helm and belongs to one of our oldest and best families. Mr. and Mrs. Gano, with a large party, who accompanied them as far as Junction City, left for a tour to Washington and New York, from whence they will go via Cuba to Texas.
