This Record Book shows Burial Number 1433, Richard Wilson in Lot P-50, Grave Number 1, Burial on 1-15-1882. The lot was bought by his second son, Elijah Wilson, with Certificate No. 398 for $25 on July 7, 1882. It also shows in Lot P-50, Burial Number 1854, Elijah Wilson, Grave Number 3, No Burial Date shown; Burial Number 2142, Julia A. Wilson (Richard's wife), Grave Number 2, Burial on 3-2-1896; and Burial Number (none shown), Eliza Wilson (Elijah's wife), Grave Number 4, No Burial Date shown. There are no markers on any of the graves. Note: Apparently, Richard was buried 6 months before the lot was purchased. Of course, it could have been a multiple payment contract in which the last payment was received on July 7, 1882. |
