Will of "Abraham Whitney of Stow ... Husbandman being far advanced in age", dated 13 May 1768, proved 8 May 1782 [legacies paid "on the Supposition of the validity of said Instrument, whereby it appears that it is already executed"], names wife Elizabeth; eldest daughter Keziah Hale; son Abraham Whitney; son & daughter Silas & Mary Jewel; grandson Isaac Witney; grandson Abraham Whitney; four oldest granddaughters [not identified]; grandson Silus Jewel. Son Abraham Whitney and Son in Law Silus Jewel to be executors. 2 Oct 1778: Receipt of heirs of Abraham Whitney of Stow that have received the legacies will to them. Signed by widow Elizebeth Whitney, Abraham Whitney, Kezia Hale, Silas Jewel Jun'r, Abraham Whitney Jr., Isaac Whitney, Marcy Furbush, Lucy Whitcomb, Eunice Maynard, Mary [Dunton?]. Executors discharged 8 May 1782.
