Origins

No birth records have been found. She is "of Eldridge" in her 1830 marriage record. However, there are only two "studdley" families in Ohio at the 1830 census; the only one that is geographically close is Joseph Studly of Richland county. The latter is an appropriately-aged family to be Ann's: Joseph and his wife are 50-60, and they had a son 15-20 and daughters <5 and 10-15.
