Some trees assign her a death year of 1824, but according to Genealogy of Some Early Families in Grant and Pleasant Districts, Preston County, West Virginia, p. 98 (which, unfortunately causes some confusion by placing her son Jacob Wolfe in Preston County in 1782, even though he had died in Shenandoah County in 1779), it was her daughter-in-law who died about 1824.

Nevertheless, she may have lived to a very old age (if her husband was only married once), as her husband's will (proved 1799) mentions "my beloved wife Catharina"^[1].
