"Lockwood, Daniel, s. of Daniel. … Born at Fairfield about 1669, d. there about 1698; … Inv. 11 Mar. 1698 [1698/9?]. Widow Abigail and her brother Daniel Burr to administer. On 26 June 1700, the widow of Daniel, Jr., was to marry Elnathan Hanford; two daus., aged 6 and 4. On 19 Nov. 1707, Nathaniel Sherman of Stratford was appointed guardian to Abigail and Mary. The part of the Est. which was set as dower to the widow Abigail was distributed, 20 Jan. 1735/6, to the heirs: the legal representatives of Abigail Gorham, dec’d; and Mary wife of Charles Burritt."
