Enos Curtis was a carpenter and a farmer by trade. When Enos was 65 years old, he traveled in the Brigham Young Company of the Mormon Pioneers from Illinois to Salt Lake City, Utah. Enos' first wife, Ruth, died on the plains on the way ot the Salt Lake Valley. Enos married a widow, Tamma Durfee Miner, and lived with her and her children in Millard, Utah.
