  3.   This is the last will and testament of me Francis Mead of the Commercial Road in the County of Middlesex Ship Owner made the second day of December in the year of Our Lord One Thousand and Eight Hundred and Seventeen I give and bequeath to my Brother Truefoot Mead Master Mariner John Harrison of the Commercial Road aforesaid Bismit Baker and also Thomas Holt of the same state Br**r and the survivors of theirs their executors or administrators all my ships and parts and shares of ships and all my ready and money money out at interest and all other my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever upon the Trusts and to and for the intents and purposes hereinafter declared concerning the same that is to say in Trust in the first place thereout to pay and satisfy all my just debts and funeral expenses and the Expenses of proving this my will and subject thereto in trust to appropriate a sum sufficient to pay and I do hereby give and bequeath to my mother Elizabeth Mead the annuity of nearly the sum of Seventy Pounds during the term of her natural life the said annuity to be payable and paid half yearly from the day of my decease free from Taxes and free of all other conditions whatsoever and upon further trust to pay to my brother Strangeways Mead during the term of his natural life the interest of the sum of One hundred pounds the same to be payable and paid half yearly from the time of my decease without any condition for taxes or otherwise howsoever and upon further Trust to pay to each of my sisters Elizabeth the wife of Moses Hazelwood Isabella the wife of John Millhouse and Francis Mead spinster the Royalty or sum of one hundred pounds the said royalties to be respectively payable and paid at the end of **** calender months from the time of my decease but without interest and subject to the trusts therein before *** my said Trustees shall stand and be possessed of and in the said Trust Estate and promises herein before given and bequeathed to them upon the trusts and to and for the intents and purposes herein after declared remaining the same in trust to sell and dispose of other part thereof as shall not consist of money in such manner as to my said Trustees shall seem best and for prices as can reasonably be obtained for the same and upon trust to place out and invest the same and also the money to arise and be procured by such sale or sales in or upon Government or real securities at interest and from time to time to vary such securities as to th* my said trustees may appear necessary and upon trust to pay and apply such part of the interest dividends or yearly proceeds therefrom arising as my said Trustees may deem necessary and sufficient for and towards the maintenance education and support of my daughter Isabella Mead until she attain her age of Twenty one years or day of marriage which shall first happen and from and after my said daughter shall attain her said age of Twenty one years or shall marry provided such marriage is solemnized before she attains the said age of Twenty one years by had with the consent and approbation of my said Trustees one moiety or half part of the residue of the said trust estate and premises shall be in Trust for my said daughter Isabella Mead her executors administrators to be costed in and payable to her when she shall attain her said age of Twenty One Years or shall so marry which shall first happen and my said Trustees shall stand and be prepared and interested of and in the other moiety or half part thereof in Trust to pay the interest dividends and year proceeds therefrom arising as the same shall come in and be received unto my said daughter Isabella Mead in such manner as the same shall not be subject to the control or liable to the disposition engagements or failure or any husband or husbands of my said daughter and from and after the decease of my said daughter if there shall be a child of my said daughter lawfully begotten and living at the time of her decease and such child or children in case their parents shall be dead my said trustees shall stand and be seized and interested of and in the said last mention moiety or half part of the residue of the said trust estate and premises in trust for such child or children or the lawful spouse thereof to be equally dividied between them if more than one child or children of such deceased child or children being to and taking their parents share and I do so hereby declare that the respective shares of such of them as shall be sons shall be vested in and payable to them on their respectively attaining the age of Twenty one years or of marriage which shall first happen with Benefit of Survivorship in the event of any of them dying before their respective share or shares shall have become payable and in case there shall be no such child of my said daughter or issue of them living at the time of the decease of my said daughter the said last mentioned moiety or half part shall be in trust for such person or persons as shall at the decease of my said daughter be my own next of kin and I do hereby declare and direct that if my said daughter shall marry before she attains her said age of twenty one years without the consent and approbation of my said trustees that then and in that case my said trustees shall stand and be possessed and interested of and in the said first mentioned moiety or half part of the residue of the said trust estate and premises herein before declared to be in trust for and to vest in her at the age of twenty one or marriage and the same shall thenceforth remain and be upon the same trusts and the interest dividends and yearly proceeds therefrom arising shall be paid in the same manner and after the decease of my said daughter the same shall be upon the same trusts and to and for the same interests and purposes as are hereinbefore declared of and remaining the other moiety or half part of the residue of the said trust estate and premises and I hereby constitute and appoint the said Truefoot Mead John Harrison and Thomas Holt executors this my last will and testament and I declare that they shall not be answerable and accountable the one of the other for other of them nor for involuntary *** and that they respectively shall and may retain to and reimburse themselves all other costs charges and expenses as they may sustain expend or be put unto in and about execution of this my will or the trusts hereby in them vested or and I so hereby revoke all my former wills whereof I have to this my last will and testament contained in this and the two proceeding sheets of paper here to annexed set my hand and seal to wit my hand at the bottom of each of the two proceeding sheets my hand and seal to this last sheet and my seal at the top of the first of the asaid sheets T Mead in this and the two proceeding sheets of paper was signed and sealed and solemnized by Francis Mead of the Commercial Road in the county of Middlesex Shipownere as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who witnessed the proof have subscribed his name at his request in his presence and in the presence of others Mary Jackson Mary *** and Thomas Swinburne December 12 1817
