    Biography
George Kauffelt was born about 1733 in the Rhineland.

He was married twice to sisters, Anna Eleanor Wolf and Clara Wolf, both daughters of Jacob Wolf. The children of George and Clara were Johann Jacob, John Adam, Catherine, Margaret, George, Magdalene, Clare, Mary, Susannah and Christina.

He was a wagon maker. [1]

His estate was probated in 1789 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. [2]

    Notes
The Kauffeld book has this George as the son of Johann Christoph Kauffeld and Anna Sara Dillman-Degen, but does state that he and his brother Elias could have been the sons of Nicholas. The records aren't clear as to where he fits in the family. Christoph bringing his family to America in 1738 aboard the Glasgow initially arriving in Pennsylvania and later moving to the Shenandoah area in Virginia.

Also, according to the book, he was married to two Wolf sisters, though Jacob Wolf's make it sound like they are the same person, referring to Anna Clara and his wife. Perhaps Eleanor and Clara both had the first name of Anna, as these old German families seem inclined to do sometimes.

https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/wolfe/4052/: Jacob Wolf's will, proven in 1799 in Shenandoah Co. VA. Jacob's will, and it's 1802 settlement mentions:

    My beloved wife Catharina
the heirs of my son John Jacob Woolf, deceased
the heirs of my son Augustin Wolf, deceased
daughter Anna Clara widow of George Caufeld deceased (George had first married her sister Elenora but she died with no living children)
daughter Susannah wife of William Kelp deceased
the heirs of my daughter Margretha deceased who was wife of Christian Funkhauser deceased.
The 1802 settlement lists the children and heirs of John Jacob, deceased who was one of the sons of the testator, as "Clara the wife of Anthony Rodenheffer, Margaret wife of George Miller, Augustine (b.1756,my ancestor married to Mary Elizabeth Cook 21 Oct. 1791),Barbara wife of John Cook, George Woolf, Mary wife of Conrad Reeder, Adam Wolf and John Wolfe". John Jacob had died in 1779 without a will and his Administration lists his wife as Mary Wolf.

Next listed are the "children and heirs of Augustine Wolfe deceased who was one of the sons of the testator, Jacob Wolfe, Samuel Wolfe, Elizabeth Wolfe afterwards wife of George Pence, Margaret wife of Lawrence Zimmerman". Augustin(e) died in 1782 without a will and his Administration charges Margareth Wolf and Samuel Rodenheafer (Margareth's or Margaret's) brother with the inventory of estate. According to Shenandoah Co Marriages, Augustin Wolf and Margaret Rotenhefer were married 15 May 1773.

Baptism of Elenora Wolf on 18-Jul-1734 Contwig From Daniel Bly's "From the Rhine to the Shenandoah": Elenora married George Coffelt ( Kauffelt) on 27-May-1750 in York County, PA The LDS records show us she and husband George Coffelt did have a son. I believe this should confirm that she and the baby died. George married her sister Clara about 1758 and there was no mention of “children of my daughter Elenora, deceased” in their father Jacob Wolf’s will. Anna Clara and George married in 1758 and had 11 children.
