GEORGE MORRIS JR. George A. Morris Jr. passed away March 10, 2013. He was born Dec. 8, 1933, in St. Louis to Trella and George Morris. He graduated from Paragould High School, in Arkansas in 1951. From 1953 until 1957, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, Okla., in 1961. After his retirement from Jet Propulsion Laboratory, December 1998, he and his wife moved to Las Vegas. He was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Civil Air Patrol, the Sun City Summerlin Security Patrol, the ARRL and various other amateur radio organizations and clubs. His amateur radio call sign was W6ABW. He is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Connie; daughter, Crystal; son, Allen; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
