Hannah Stiles, b. say 1636. … One possible solution to the discrepancy between four or five children born at Windsor [Grant 93] is that the eldest child … Hannah, was a child of Sarah, the wife of Francis Stiles, by a previous marriage. Hannah was certainly married by 1653, which would suggest a birth date closer to 1633. To make her a daughter of Francis Stiles, born after his arrival in New England, she could have been born no earlier than 1636, and so would have been barely seventeen at marriage.
