Will Transcript

In the name of God Amen, _____ [sic, missing, should say Patience] Campble, widow and Relict of James Campble [apparently hand written-in afterwards], late of Kings Creek, Brook County and State of Virginia being weak and frail by reason of and infirmities, but of sound mind and memory do wish and desire, the sum of forty pounds Pennsylvania Currency which was left me by my father, and which sum I received some years by past, and have had in my hands, and always accounted as my own private property - be at my deceased Equally divided betwixt my two daughters Ann Capes and Margaret Langfit, that is to say twenty pounds to each. This I leave as my last request, to my sons, that they will punctually and faithfully perform this my last and only request.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of July 1805.
(Signed) Patience [Her X Mark] Campble [Seal]
P.S. the money alluded to is in the hands of my son James, as my agent.
