Formerly of Wangi Wangi. Dearly loved husband of Myra (dec'd). Loving father of John, Peter, Andrew and loving father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather of their families. His funeral took place privately according to his wishes. Aged 99 years Special thanks to all staff at Waterview Aged Care for their loving care.

ACCIDENTS AT WEEK-END
Bitten by a dog in Centennial Park on Saturday, Robert Burgess, 11, of Dawson street, Cook's Hill, received treatment at Newcastle Hospital for a lacerated wound to the left ankle. Newcastle Ambulance rendered first-aid.
