    Probably this was a birth record for Henry Luzern Wilson, entered a year later with incorrect name and date.

    However Samuel Arthur Wilson was enumerated in the 1880 census, age 10 years, and he appears in many subsequent public records. And he has living relatives who knew him. And he has several living descendants. Certainly he did not die as an infant in 1873.

    Probably this was a death record for Samuel's brother Henry Luzern Wilson who died as an infant, entered a year later with incorrect name and date.
