    "William Rix1, son of Robert Rix of Canninghall, England, was in Boston, Mass., before 1645. He was probably in Ispwich in 1640, for in Thomas Letchford’s notebook, he gives an account of a contract to build a house for William Rix, in Ispwich, in that year. It was to be 16 feet long and 14 feet wide, and to cost £21. He married Grace ____, and died in Boston, Nov. 13, 1657. His widow married, second, in 1663, Andrew Newcome."
