Acton Grange was a township in Daresbury chapelry of Runcorn ancient parish in Bucklow Hundred, which became a civil parish in 1866. The civil parish was abolished in 1936 to become part of Walton. The population was 139 in 1801, 172 in 1851, and 145 in 1901.
