Belby is a hamlet in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) northeast of Goole town centre and about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Howden. It lies just to the south of the B1230 road and north of the M62 motorway.

Historically, Belby was in the ecclesiastical parish of Howden in the wapentake of Howdenshire. From 1894 until 1935, Belby was located in Howden Rural District. In 1935 Belby civil parish was abolished and the area was transferred to Kilpin parish.
