Ceidio is a former civil parish in the Welsh county of Gwynedd (before 1974 the historic county of Caernarvonshire. Ceidio was abolished in 1934, and incorporated into the newly formed parish of Buan.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Ceidio from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"CEIDIO, a parish in Pwllheli [registration] district, Carnarvon; 2¾ miles SW by W of Nevin [Nefyn], and 7 SW of Pwllheli. Post Town, Nevin, under Pwllheli. Acres: 1,081. Real property: £1,044. Population: 154. Houses: 25. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bangor. Value: £85. Patron: T. P. J. Parry, Esq."
