Fulshaw was a township in Wilmslow ancient parish in Macclesfield Hundred which became a civil parish in 1866. In 1894 the civil parish was abolished to become parts of Wilmslow and Bollin Fee.

The population was 214 in 1801 and 358 in 1851.
