Higham Ferrers Hundred is a fairly narrow strip along the southeastern edge of Northamptonshire facing the county of Bedfordshire.
The following description from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72 is provided by the website A Vision of Britain Through Time (University of Portsmouth Department of Geography).
- "The hundred contains fourteen parishes and part of another. Acres: 29,660. Population in 1851: 10,090; in 1861: 11,508. Houses: 2,506."
