Mey is a remote village, located on the north coast of Scotland in Caithness in the Scottish Highlands. It is in parish of Canisbay and in the Scottish council area of Highland.

Mey lies 6 miles west of John o' Groats and 0.5 miles southeast of the Loch of Mey. The Castle of Mey lies 1 mile northeast overlooking Mey Bay. The Castle of Mey was bought by the late Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, the widow of King George VI in 1952 when it was a semi-derelict state. Since her death in March 2002 it has been the property of Charles, Prince of Wales.
