Rowlands Castle (or Rowland's Castle; the apostrophe is disputed) is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire District of Hampshire. It is 2.9 miles (4.7 km) north of Havant, on the county border between Hampshire and West Sussex.
The village lies in the area of the former Forest of Bere on the eastern boundary of Hampshire. To the east in the parish of Stoughton, West Sussex is Stansted Park.
The parish, which was in Petersfield Rural District, was formed in 1932 when the following civil parishes were abolished: Bedhampton, Blendworth, Chalton, Idsworth, North Havant and Warblington.
