Thearne is now a hamlet in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) south-east of Beverley and between the A1174 road and the River Hull.
Until 1935 Thearne was a township in the ecclesiastical Beverley St. John parish. It now forms part of the civil parish of Woodmansey which was established at that time. It was part of the ecclesiastical parish of Beverley in the wapentake of Harthill.
