Tufton is a small village in Hampshire, England. St Mary Church dates from the 13th century and contains a large early 15th century painting of Saint Christopher on the north wall of nave. Its nearest town is Whitchurch, Hampshire, which lies approximately 2 miles north from the village.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Tufton from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"TUFTON, or Tuckington, a parish in Whitchurch [registration] district, Hants; 1½ mile S by W of Whitchurch [railway] station. Post town, Whitchurch, under Mitcheldever Station. Acres: 1,552. Real property, with Bullington: £3,134. Population of Tufton alone: 142. Houses: 29. The manor belongs to the Earl of Portsmouth. The living is annexed to Bullington, The church is good."

Ecclesiastically, Tufton was a chapelry in the parish of Bullington and was part of the Evingar Hundred. Prior to 1974 Tufton was a separate civil parish in the rural districts of Whitchurch (1894-1932) and Kingsclere and Whitchurch (1932-1974). Since 1974 it has been part of the non-metropolitan district Basingstoke and Deane.

There is also a place named Tufton in New Hampshire, United States.
