The Daily Globe ran from 1900 to 1962 under this title, according to the Library of Congress. This was followed by The Shelby Daily Globe, which ran from 1962 to 1968. From 1968 to 1978, the title incorporated The Tiro World and was renamed to The Shelby Daily Globe and Tiro World. In 1978, the name was briefly again The Shelby Daily Globe, before changing to current title, The Daily Globe.

Availability

According to the Library of Congress, Repository:Ohio Historical Society holds a microfilm archive of the periodical, starting at 1978.

It appears that the title has not been digitized by the Library of Congress under any of its titles. Nor does it appear to have been digitized as part of the Newspapers.com activities. Nor does there appear to be any holdings in the Internet Archive.

The periodical's website does not have an online archive. The Internet Archive has a trace from the periodical's site going back to mid-2003; certainly this will be an incomplete and fragmented "archive".

WorldCat contains several records for the periodical; for instance, for the 1900 to 1962 publication; for more information see the "Shelby (Ohio) Newspapers" subject in WorldCat.
