Hello. My name is Hugh Winters, living in Papatoetoe, New Zealand. I am 54 years of age and married with 4 boys - 26, 22, and twins of 8 years. I have been researching my family since 1992, not long before my Dad died. He had been researching previously and I got interested from him. I started with the internet in 1994, and have seen online genealogy rapidly moving in the last 14 years. My biggest frustration is the hunt for my own surname, Winters. My ggrandfather, Joseph came to New Zealand in 1875 from Cambridgeshire. Ive established he was born in Bedfordshire, but with no father on birth certificate.
