About me

My name is Scot Austin, I was born in Waukegan, Illinois. I studied Electrical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I worked as an Engineer in Chicago for a few years and moved to California, got married and raised a family. I spent 22 years as an Engineering consultant 8 with my own firm. After that I Joined Hewlett Packard and spent 18 years at HPLabs as an Engineering project manager until I retired.
