I presume this applies to Person:James Weir (12).

In the left margin is a list of users watching this page, in this case only one.

The menu item in the left margin "History" will show all the edits and you can determine who input the information most of interest to you by looking at the diffs between the different versions. Some posters may no longer be watching the pages they contributed so this gives a more detailed idea of who contributed what.

Once you identify the user you wish to contact, you can go to their Talk page, e.g., type User talk:Sunnyvalley (substituting their user name) in the search box in the upper right hand corner. There you can post a public message to the user.

You may also be able to send them email. From their Talk page, go to the "more" menu in the left margin, choose "Email this user". This will be a more private correspondence, however it will expose your email to the recipient. It is also possible for people to turn off this capability, though I think the user you desire is quite open to communication. Please be aware that many people who post here have no relationship to the people they research, so the "are you related" question is often answered no.
