In the Name of God, Amen.[2]

The Eighteenth of February one Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Six. I Asher Cutler of Sudbury in the County of Middlesex and and [sic] Commonwealth of the Massachusetts, yeoman, being very Sick and weak in Body, but of Perfect mind and memory, Thanks be given unto God. Therefore Calling unto Mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed once to Dye, Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to Say Principally, and first of all, I give and Recommend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it; and my body I Recommend to the Earth, to be Buried in Decent Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Executors; nothing Doubting but at the General Resurrection, I Shall receive the Same again by the Mighty Power of God, and as Touching my worldly Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to Bless me in this Life I give Demise and Dispose of the Same in the following manner and form. -

Imprimis, I Give and bequeath to Rebecca my Dearly Beloved wife my two Cows together with all my Household furniture Excepting one Bed and beding Sufficient for it, and a Chest of D[rawers?] with all my Books, forever.

Item. I give to my well beloved Son asher Cutler one half of all my farming Tools together with my Horse and my Silver Watch and all the money which my Executor may find Due to me after Paying the Doctor's Bulls, upon my Son Asher Paying all my other Debts

Item, I give to my well beloved Daughter Rebecca Cutler one Bed with Bedding Sufficient for it and one Chest of Draws

Item. I give to my well beloved Daughter Hannah Haynes five shillings Lawfull Money to be Paid her by my Executor.

Item, I give to my grandson Levi Otis Holden Son to my well Beloved Daughter Louis Holden Deceas'd five shillings if he Should Live to arrive at the age of twenty one years to be Paid him by my Executor.

Item, I give to my well Beloved Son Abel Cutler Whom I Likewise Constitute make and ordain my Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, the other half of my farming Tools Together with the Whole of my wearing apperal.

Confirming this and no other to be my Last will and Testament. In witness where of I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Day and year above Written.
