John E. Schonour
Sinking Spring, Oct. 9 - John E. Schonour 72 died this morning in his residence at 44 Woodrow Ave., this place. He was born in Berks County, a son of the late Joseph and Ellen (Smith) Schonour. He was a retired employe of the Textile Machine Works, and was a member of the Sinkng Spring Fire Co. and the Denver Orioles. Surviving are his widow, Mabel (Kelcher) Schonour; two sons, Herbert and Charles, both of this place; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and two brothers, William, Reading, and Clarence, this place. Funeral services will be held in the Lamb & Whitman Funeral Home, Wernersville, on Thursday at 2 p.m., the Rev. John S. Sowa officiating. Burial will be made in Pleasant View Cemetery.
