Borden, &c., to Moses Trimble (sold in testator's lifetime), 345 1/2 acres, part of 92,100, adjoining John Huston on the Timber Ridge; corner to Samuel Gray; corner to David Edmiston; corner to Daniel Lyle. Teste: Joseph Lapsley, Alexander Douglass, Abraham Brown. Acknowledged, 18th November, 1747.

Moses TRIMBLE was born about 1718.(66) He died on 18 Jul 1783 in Washington County, Virginia. (66) The Borden Tract was established about 1736 in the Valley of Virginia known today as the Shenandoah Valley. Borden got the rights to develop 500,000 acres of land in this area. This area took in a large portion of what is Augusta and Rockbridge Counties, VA, today. Some were already here before Borden began to develop it. Moses Trimble-1747-345 acres Parents: Robert TRIMBLE and Hannah TRIMBLE?. He was married to Jane TRIMBLE?.(66) Moses' will dated 18 July, 1783 lists the children Children were: James TRIMBLE, Moses TRIMBLE Jr., Thomas TRIMBLE, Jane TRIMBLE.
