1. William Grist shared the freehold of Greenland Mill in 1832 & 1837 with Charles Grist (see T102-J01) and in 1839/40 with John Fisher Grist born 1810.

2. William Grist was, at the age of 77 in the Westwood Union Workhouse.

3. When John Fisher Grist, born in 1831, was christened on 07.10.1832, William and Elizabeth stood as parents. When he married in 1856 his father was named as William, a witness was Elizabeth Grist.
