Abergavenny was an ancient hundred of Monmouthshire, Wales.

It was situated in the northern part of the county, bounded on the north by Herefordshire, England; on the east by the hundreds of Skenfrith, Rhaglan, and Usk; on the south by Wentloog Hundred; and on the west by Wentloog and the county of Breconshire, Wales.

The administration of the area was transferred to the preserved county of Gwent in 1974 and since 1996 has been divided between the local authorities of Monmouthshire (principal area), Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent.
