This is an experimental project that I am trying at WeRelate. I am keeper of the [North Central Kentucky QuickNotes http://www.rootsweb.com/~kybullit/bcqnmain.htm] at the Bullitt Co. GenWeb Site. For years I have tried to scan or make notes of families I saw on the migration paths prior to their Kentucky arrival. I have not known how to share these. There has been no place to upload scanned documents which meant everything had to be transcribed and set on web pages. I started migration pages at the Bullitt site but its very time intensive and cumbersome. I may still need to manually make indexes for these families and the places they came from but I want to play with some of them here and see if this would work. I am not sure yet what I am doing and if anyone finds me who has ideas please contact me. At this point I am playing in the sandbox... |
