WeRelate talk:Publicity

Volunteering? [17 March 2023]

Does WeRelate have a policy about or materials that can be used in displays at local genealogy confereneces? I'll be giving a talk at our local "Finding Your Roots" conference this fall, but there is also a display hall, and I could ask for a table if there is something I could use to promote WeRelate. It's all pretty much volunteer, local, and no cost. --GayelKnott 23:25, 5 May 2013 (EDT)

Feel free to use whatever you want from WeRelate in your presentation materials. Here are links to a couple of presentations you are free to download and use: using WeRelate, why share content on WeRelate, and a flyer. They're several years old and the UI has changed since then so the screen shots are out of date, but the principles are the same. I'd love it if someone wanted to create some updated presentations.--Dallan 16:34, 31 May 2013 (EDT)
Thanks, Dallan, I'll see what I can do. --GayelKnott 19:01, 1 June 2013 (EDT)

Thank you for volunteering. It appears that this publicity committee is no longer active, but I will add your name to the list of members, so that you can be involved if it starts up again. Regards, --cos1776 14:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC) (WeRelate:Overview committee member)
