This marriage apparently ended in divorce prior to 1875, when John re-married to Ella Onstott, born abt. 1848, on 10 Oct. 1875, who is listed as his wife in the 1880 census, listed below. His first wife Anna Elizabeth Cheek re-married in 1885 to Lucian D. Meade, as her third husband.
